Even though Compston House is kept meticulously clean at all times, we have gone all out to minimise the spread of COVID-19, reduce the chances of a second wave and keep you safe.
You can rest assured that all measures required to stay safe have been accounted for. Proudly and dutifully, we have taken the following steps to ensure your stay is safe and enjoyable:
Cleaning of rooms - All our rooms are deep cleaned and disinfected when a guest departs. Special attention is given to high-touch items, such as kettles, alarm clocks, remote controls and handles. All complimentary supplies such as tea, coffee, shampoo and conditioner are replaced when a guest departs for complete peace of mind.
Communal areas - Everything from door handles and rooms keys to handrails and menus are disinfected frequently. We have an automatic hand sanitiser near Reception for your convenience and peace of mind.
Social distancing - We will do all we can to assist with social distancing. We will ensure the correct distance is maintained between tables in the breakfast area and if necessary, we will utilise the Guest Lounge as a secondary Dining Room. At Check In, the Guest Lounge can be used to maintain distance. We gratefully ask all guests to adopt a 'common sense' approach regarding stair use.
Face masks/gloves - We have face masks at Reception if you have forgotten to bring one. They will cost £0.50p per mask. We also have disposable gloves available if you wish. We wear face masks for check in, breakfast service and during housekeeping for your peace of mind.
The same attention to cleanliness is paid to the areas you don't see such as our living quarters and kitchen. We are committed to keeping Compston House safe along with each of our valued guests.
In short, everything possible is being done to make sure that your stay is safe, clean and enjoyable. All you need to do is arrive and relax.
