Just spent another few days at The Compston House B&B and would recommend the B&B to anyone wanting to stay in the Ambleside area. Megan & John are excellent host and nothing is too much trouble for them.We stayed in Room 8 on the top floor which we found ideal for us. As for breakfast there is a large selection to choose from and all what we had tasted delicious. All in all I would highly recommend Compston House B&B for a place to stay - Anthony Hobson
We had a wonderful time at Compston House! The hosts were so lovely and welcoming, the rooms were beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. The breakfast was 10/10 with so many options, and the location was perfect! There’s so much to do in the area. Parking permit is also included which made our lives so much easier with car parks nearby. Would defo recommend and will be returning soon!- Harriet & T
