Us
Sue and Jerry are native New Yorkers,
who quit the ‘‘rat race’’ of their
corporate jobs to run a child-free bed and breakfast in
this beautiful part of the world. They opened Compston
House as an American-style B&B ten years ago, and
they’re still smiling.
Sue loves to cook, and has just received the prestigious Breakfast Award from the national tourist board. She makes her own pancakes fresh and hot everyday, and also cooks up a great full English
breakfast, overstuffed cheese omelettes, and eggy bread
as you like it, and as a special treat on Sundays—homemade
blueberry muffins! And, Jerry’s Brooklyn hospitality
will make you smile as he asks ‘‘How you
doin’?’’
